Mareeshia Wilkins, simply known as ‘Reeshia da Barber’ is a celebrity barber extraordinaire.  Hailing from Denver, CO., Wilkins is making a name for herself in the industry as the ‘go to’ barber artistry architect.

 

Now residing in Dallas, TX. Wilkins is cutting her way into the lives of celebrities throughout the entertainment and sports world.  It didn’t take long for Wilkins to hone her skills.  In 2016, she opened her own salon, 5th Ave Grooming Lounge in Arlington, TX.

 

“I spent nearly a decade perfecting my craft,” explains Wilkins.  “I studied the standard skills but wanted to have a particular craft I could specialize in within the industry; so, I begin to take an interest in Male Replacement Units (Cranial Prothesis)”.

 

Wilkins begin to make a name for herself throughout the industry after becoming the personal hair architect for celebrity fashion stylist, J. Bolin.  “I had the opportunity to meet and speak with him about a particular look he was wanting for one of his collections and as they say, the rest is history,” says Wilkins.    Wilkins has had the pleasure of styling some of today’s hottest celebrities including boxing icon, Roy Jones, Jr.,  rapper Tyga, Jidenna, Actors and entertainers David Mann, Jason Mitchell, and JJ Green to name a few.
